Unable to Send/Receive Messages on Geotab Drive App

Symptoms

  • Drive App User is not receiving messages on Geotab Drive app. 
  • Messages option doesn't show in the menu on Geotab Drive or MyGeotab

Cause

The Feature Preview option was not turned on.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to Administration
  2. Select desired user/driver
  3. Click UI Settings tab
  4. In the Feature preview section, select On
  5. Click Save

Feature preview must be turned on in order for the messages feature to work.
