Unable to see vehicle or trailer in Geotab Drive


  • Cannot attach a truck/trailer in the Geotab Drive App.
  • Truck does not automatically populate in Drive App.

  • In order for a driver to select a vehicle after logging in to the Drive App, they need to enter a name, VIN, device serial number or license plate in the search bar. If nothing comes up, this usually means the vehicle has not been added to the database. In this case, an Administrator of the database will need to add the vehicle first
  • If the vehicle/trailer has already been added to the database, make sure the vehicle/trailer is in the same group of the driver for him or her to see it
