What does the message "Information: The field CMV VIN is required" mean when transferring HOS logs?

Answer

The message is not an error. 

This is a message to remind the officer to check and ensure that all D logs have vehicles and VIN's next to them. This message shows up because the transfer can sometimes include logs which has 'no vehicle', which is a perfectly normal occurrence because the transfer includes Boundary Logs

The customer has does not need to worry because the DriveApp does not create D logs when there is no vehicle attached (and those vehicles have VIN's).

The message is a note for the officer to check for any Driving logs that do not have VIN's - because other ELD systems can have that occur, but ours cannot.
