Why Did an Imported Fuel Transaction Get Assigned to the Wrong Vehicle?

Symptoms

  • Imported fuel transaction is assigned to one vehicle, while the system-recorded fill-up is assigned to a different vehicle

Cause

There are at least two vehicles in the database that have either the same vehicle identification number (VIN), license plate number, GO® device serial number, or vehicle comments.

Resolution

Verify the vehicles' information on the Vehicle Edit page to ensure they have different VINs, license plate numbers, GO device serial numbers, and/or vehicle comments.
