Why the distance in Exceptions Detail Report is different from the one in Trip History Report?

Answer

The different distances may be caused by GPS latch issues, which you may see straight lines in trip history. In this case, the exception report may have a high mileage representing the distance the vehicle "moved" between two GPS points, while the trip history report invalidated the distance because of the GPS issue.
