Issue: Historic device with valid serial number

Symptoms

  • Device is historic 
  • Valid serial number is still attached 
  • Unplug device is unavailable 

Applies To

  • MyGeotab 
  • Device Management  

Resolution

  1. On the vehicle edit page of the historic device, click More details 
  2. Click Replace with a new device 
  3. Enter a valid serial number 
  4. Click OK 
  5. Refresh the page and click More details 
  6. Click Unplug device
