Error “JSONRPCError: Duplicate Data” while logging into Geotab Drive

Symptoms

  • Error “JSONRPCError: Duplicate Data” when trying to login to Geotab Drive
  • Driver is unable to change duty status

Cause

The data on the Geotab Drive App could not synchronized with MyGeotab due to a bug that throws exceptions on the backend.

Resolution

The fix for this was released in 5.7.1902.1380-5bd7436.
