How to add maintenance reminder rules?

0
I'm using Chrome to access the GeoTab website to work with my fleet. I want to add a maintenance reminder rule. The Product Guide says to go to Engine & Maintenance, then select Reminders.
Under Engine & Maintenance, I only see Maintenance Reminders so I guess that's it.
It then says, "To create a new reminder select Reminders, then drop-down Reminder Rules, which will list all of your existing reminder rules. To create a new rule, click the Add button at the top. "
But on my screen, it does NOT have a Reminder Rules button. See enclosed. How do I create a new rule? Thank you so much.

Vicky,

You will need to click on the "Advanced" button on your attached image to be able to add reminder rules. Clicking on the Advanced button will open up a Click-Once window that provides the option to setup these reminders.

Thanks, that was quite helpful.  I clicked on "Advanced" to get the Reminders window (see attached).  The manual says "To create a new reminder select Setup Reminders".  I must be blind, but I can't find that button.  Could you please point it out?  Thanks.

P.S., the "Show Reminders" button does not do that.

You may not have the appropriate settings on your account to set up reminders. Please reach out to your registered Geotab reseller for further assistance.

Dominic,  Can I set up a reminder like an oil change reminder for a recurring 10,000 miles but have it adjust to a lesser number of miles for the first cycle?  I have a company that is switching from Fleetmatics and most of there vehicles are mid reminder.  Thanks

Jeremy,

Unfortunately you can't set up the rule to do that but I have 2 workaround suggestions for you. The first one is to set the rule for a lower number of miles until the first cycle is up, and then adjust the rule back to 10,000 miles. The second suggestion is to create two different reminder rule, where the first rule is a once-off rule and the second one is the reoccurring rule for 10,000 miles. The idea is to put the vehicle into the once-off rule for the first cycle, and then put the vehicle into the reoccurring rule after the first cycle is complete.
