Airbag Deployment

Is there a way to set up a rule that detects Airbag deployment?

Hi Chris,

You can select Airbag by going to Add Engine> Active Fault> Display All Diagnostics. You can type in airbag here to view all of the options. See screenshot for details.

Thanks,

Thanks Siam.  I found those, but I was unsure what value to put in there to indicate deplayment.  I ended up making this rule.  Basically if any of the "air bag deployed" types have a value more than -1 I want to know.

Or(
IsValueMoreThan[value=-1](
FilterStatusDataByDiagnostic[diagnostic=DiagnosticAirbagDeployedId]
),
IsValueMoreThan[value=-1](
FilterStatusDataByDiagnostic[diagnostic=DiagnosticAirbagNearlyDeployedId]
),
IsValueMoreThan[value=-1](
FilterStatusDataByDiagnostic[diagnostic=DiagnosticDriverAirbagDeployedId]
),
IsValueMoreThan[value=-1](
FilterStatusDataByDiagnostic[diagnostic=DiagnosticLeftSideAirbagDeployedId]
),
IsValueMoreThan[value=-1](
FilterStatusDataByDiagnostic[diagnostic=DiagnosticPassengerAirbagDeployedId]
),
IsValueMoreThan[value=-1](
FilterStatusDataByDiagnostic[diagnostic=DiagnosticRightSideAirbagDeployedId]
)
)

Chris,

If you want to monitor any airbag you shouldn't need to worry about the value. Instead of using measurement or data you can use Active Fault for Airbag Deployed. So the condition will be as below:

 Fault[diagnostic=DiagnosticAirbagDeployedId]

OK thanks. This is my new rule!

Or(
Fault[diagnostic=DiagnosticAirbagDeployedId],
Fault[diagnostic=DiagnosticDriverAirbagDeployedId],
Fault[diagnostic=DiagnosticLeftSideAirbagDeployedId],
Fault[diagnostic=DiagnosticPassengerAirbagDeployedId],
Fault[diagnostic=DiagnosticRightSideAirbagDeployedId],
Fault[diagnostic=DiagnosticAirbagNearlyDeployedId]
)

Chris,

That should work. The generic airbag deployed should include the left, right, passenger and driver aigbags already.

Thanks,
